Location: Budapest, Graphisoft Park. Our office will move to Váci Greens office park at the beginning of 2022.

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our growing marketing team at our global software company’s HQ, and help us to:

  • support our corporate strategy and the goals of our products with ideation and planning of suitable events;
  • work closely together with the marketing team to organize and execute corporate and industry events worldwide;
  • promote measurement ideas to evaluate ROI on events.

ChemAxon’s main focus is on B2B communication, therefore events are vital in our marketing efforts. If you have high organization and interpersonal skills - we are looking for you!

Your tasks will be to:

  • Plan the event calendar of the company - based on the incoming requests and business needs - define transparent workflows to ensure that we reach our goals
  • Plan, organize and execute live and online corporate events (like user meetings, webinars, TechForums, TechTalks etc.), and industry conference participations (booth, sponsorship, presentation, poster etc.) liaise with venues, suppliers and contractors
  • Manage pre-event planning with suppliers and speakers (both colleagues and guest speakers)
  • Handle attendee and other upcoming requests and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure it runs smoothly
  • Keep track of giveaway and booth materials in our global offices, and initiate and manage the creation of new ones if necessary
  • Keep marketing, sales and product manager colleagues informed to publicize and promote the events
  • Collect and organize results of the event (new prospect list, feedback etc.) and share with relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in marketing or event organization for 5 years
  • Outstanding organizational, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Project management experience
  • Flexible, target-driven, proactive approach
  • Experience in webinars and virtual events
  • Degree – preferably in marketing, communication or other business fields
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
  • Systematic and well-organized way of work
  • Attention to detail

COVID info

Although we are a great believer that colocation supports collaboration and the flow of knowledge, we mostly work from home at the moment. The office - with all the necessary safety regulations & equipment - is still open for those who prefer to work there.
