Patent application management using ChemCurator and Marvin Live at Sprint Bioscience
Sprint Bioscience develops small molecule medicines, focusing on cancer and tumor metabolism. Using fragment-based methods, we develop parallel projects in the preclinical stage - up to the point of identifying a drug candidate ready for clinical trials.
Writing patent applications is an important part of our work, to ensure that our intellectual property is protected. We have used ChemCurator to double check that our claims are covering the exemplified structures in our applications. We have also used a Patent Crosscheck in Marvin Live to double-check whether new design ideas are covered by previously submitted claims, when synthesizing additional examples for the applications during the priority year.
