What is cHemTS?
cHemTS is a smart, automated solution designed to help chemical and pharmaceutical companies assign the correct Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes to organic compounds. cHemTS simplifies a complex, error-prone process that otherwise demands deep expertise and a lot of time by assigning the best HTS code to any compound. It is available both as self-hosted and cloud-hosted solution, integrating into existing workflows for accurate, streamlined classification of organic compounds for global trade.
Accurate HS code assignment
cHemTS provides over 99% accuracy* in assigning HS codes. It automatically identifies drugs based on the active ingredients listed in Drugs@FDA and the Green Book, and highlights relevant FDA and DEA flags. It also checks for tax free import options by cross-referencing country-specific Pharmaceutical Agreements.
*Tested on the Chapter 29 CN codes (~50,000) available in the ECICS database
