What is cHemTS?
cHemTS is a smart, automated solution designed to help chemical and pharmaceutical companies assign the correct Harmonized System (HS) codes, also called Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes in the US to organic compounds. cHemTS simplifies a complex, error-prone process that otherwise demands deep expertise and a lot of time by assigning the best HTS code to any compound. It is available both as self-hosted and cloud-hosted solution, integrating into existing workflows for accurate, streamlined classification of organic compounds for global trade.
Accurate HS code assignment
cHemTS provides over 99% accuracy* in assigning HS codes. It automatically identifies drugs based on the active ingredients listed in Drugs@FDA and the Green Book, and highlights relevant FDA and DEA flags. It also checks for tax free import options by cross-referencing country-specific Pharmaceutical Agreements.
*Tested on the Chapter 29 CN codes (~50,000) available in the ECICS database
