Changes to Our Long-Term Support (LTS) Release Schedule

We are committed to delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality software that meets the evolving needs of the industry. To further enhance stability and reduce complexity, we are making a change to our Long-Term Support (LTS) release schedule.

 

What is Changing?

 

  • LTS Release Frequency: Starting Jan 1, 2026, LTS versions will be released once every year instead of every 6 months.
  • Extended Support Duration: Each LTS release will have a support time frame of at least 2 years doubling the previous 1-year support window. 

 

Why Is This Changing?

 

  • Provide greater stability and longer maintenance cycles for mission-critical environments.
  • Focus on delivering higher-quality features and security updates within each LTS release. 

 

What Does This Mean for You?

 

  • You will have more time to plan and implement upgrades.
  • Each LTS version will remain fully supported for two years, including security patches and critical fixes.
  • Regular (non-LTS) releases will continue as scheduled for customers who prefer faster access to new features.
